An introduction !

Join IntelliBricks for an eight-week course on Scratch! Using colorful figures called Sprites and a simple drag and drop system, students will design games, short animations, and simple codes! This class will go through coding basics such as loops, sequences, variables, events and many others. Learning the basic ins and outs of coding will help your student improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills, build their confidence with technology, and give them a great depth of knowledge to bring into any future coding ventures. Classes will switch between learning new concepts and implementing the concepts in a fun project. Enroll in our private, semi private or small group class, either way we ensure that our students receive plenty of individual attention from our IB Tutors.

    Learning to code with a block based coding language like SCRATCH helps children to gain a foundation in computation thinking through visual learning as opposed to text based coding.     After you register for the class, IntelliBricks representative will contact you within 2 working days to schedule a convenient date and time for the class.

    Yes The software is free.

  • What is the difference between Junior and Senior SCRATCH class?

    The SCRATCH senior class which is designed for children ages 10 to 12years will have more open ended challenges, whereas for the SCRATCH junior class ages 7 to 9 years IB tutor will guide the student through all the projects.

  • Can I register for the SCRATCH Animation class without attending SCRATCH Introduction class?

    Scratch introduction class is a must before taking the SCRATCH game design and SCRATCH animation class. If you register for the animation class or the game design class without taking the SCRATCH introduction class, we will move your registration to the introduction class.

  • Can I register for the SCRATCH game design class without attending SCRATCH Introduction class?

    Scratch introduction class is a must before taking the SCRATCH game design and SCRATCH animation class. If you register for the animation class or the game design class without taking the SCRATCH introduction class, we will move your registration to the introduction class.

  • My son is 10 year old and we would like to register him for the SCRATCH Junior class, can we do it?

    No, your child has to be between 7 and 9 years to do the SCRATCH Junior class. If your child is over 9 years, you can register for the SCRATCH Senior class, which is designed to suit older children with more challenges.

  • My son is more than 9 year old but we want him to attend the SCRATCH junior class, can we do it?

    No, SCRATCH junior class is for children ages 7 to 9 year old only. It is not possible to register for Junior Class

  • Does SCRATCH Game Design and Animation class have any prerequisites?

    Yes, students have to do the Have fun with SCRATCH coding class first before doing the SCRATCH game design and animation class.

  • When will the SCRATCH to Python class be available for registration?

    It will be available within the next couple of months. We will announce it in our newsletter as soon as the class is ready for registration

  • What is the difference between Semi-Private and Small group classes? Solo Player?!

    Does your child loves to work in PAIR!!! TWO of a Kind??? Then it's this class type that suits him. IntelliBricks semi-private classes have a student-tutor ratio of 2:1. If your child is interested in doing this class with a friend or sibling or if your child thrives with a companion rather than learning alone, then this class is for you. Don’t worry, if you don’t have a friend or sibling who is interested, we will always pair you up with another child who is as like-minded and looking forward to happy and fun-filled learning sessions as your child. Team Player? In Group we Thrive!!! Small-Group Then consider our small group classes. These classes have a student-teacher ratio of 4:1. Its true that greater intrinsic motivation to learn & achieve and greater ability to view situations from others' perspectives are core to group learning, keeping these in mind small group classes are one of our class types. What’s more? it’s good on your budget! ​These classes are not only priced lower but also slightly longer in duration (90 minutes as opposed to 60 minutes) to make sure that your child gets enough individual attention too
